Brondell Bidet Toilet Seat: Is It a Gimmick or Genuinely Useful?

For the vast majority of Americans, especially the ones who have never ventured outside of their home country, the thought of a mini-shower for your nether regions after a trip to the bathroom is Brondell Swash Bidet Toilet Seatboth mind-boggling and cringe-worthy at the same time. The thought of showering your behind every ti
me nature calls is completely foreign to most Americans, but that’s really unfortunate because the level of cleanliness that a bidet toilet seat can provide cannot be matched by toilet paper alone. Not to mention, the reduction
of toilet paper usage will do wonders for your wallet and of course, the environment.

Unfortunately, bidets are not as popular in the States as they should be, which is surprising when you consider how well connected the world is quickly becoming. One company, however, are on a mission to change our somewhat ignorant views of the almighty bidet, by introducing a toilet seat that can upgrade any toilet into a bidet. Pretty cool, huh?

Entering, the Brondell Bidet Toilet Seat!

While it’s not a fully fledged bidet like the ones you would find in most countries in Europe, the Swash 1000 Bidet toilet seat by Brondell still provides the same experience. The only difference being that the Brondell bidet is considerably more affordable, and it’s also portable. It simply slides on top of a regular toilet, allowing you to transform any western toilet into your very own bidet.

Simply put, the Brondell bidet is equipped with two stainless steel nozzles, each of which is situated to Bathroom-bidettarget either your genital area (for the ladies) or the other area that will not be named (this is embarrassing for us, too!). The nozzles are fully adjustable, allowing you to dictate the water temperature, the amount of water they release and the pressure at which they release it. Regardless of the situation, the Brondell bidet probably has a setting to accommodate.

What surprised us the most with the Brondell bidet was the toilet seat warming function. While the toilet seat itself is made from a hard plastic, which is notorious for turning extremely cold in the winter months, you never have to worry about parking your behind on an ice-cold throne ever again, thanks to the constant warming function that makes sure the seat is always toasty and warm before you take your seat.

The Brondell bidet is also equipped with its own warm air dryer, which ultimately replaces the need for toilet paper. It’s fast, comfortable and for most people who have ever experienced it, extremely pleasurable.

All of the Brondell Bidets features are fully controlled by a cool little remote control. The remote control allows you to control the direction of the spray, the temperature of the water, the force of the hair-dryer and much more. You can also sterilize and deodorize the toilet by clicking a button on the remote, without ever needing to touch the toilet yourself.

Is The Brondell Bidet Worth The Money?

The Swash 1000 bidet toilet seat is a luxury item, so it’s obviously not for everyone. With that being said, if you want to experience the level of cleanliness that only a bidet can provide, we would highly recommend the Brondell bidet. It’s incredibly simple to use, it’s packed full of useful features and it’s pretty darn cheap compared to a regular bidet.
